Located on Sunset Boulevard just southeast of the Glendale Boulevard over pass, Taza is the epitome of a “petite” café. There’s no space for any seating inside, but the two patio settings on the sidewalk in front of the café are a great place to sit in the sun watching life go by along the Boulevard.
While there, I treated myself to a latte and an apple turnover and, I must say, the coffee was quite good. I forgot to ask what roaster she uses (the pastries are from Porto’s), but they were definitely quality beans and I plan on returning very soon.
Talking to the owner, Christina, I learned that this venture is her first and was long in the making. If you live in the area or travel along Sunset, I say stop in and give the place a shot. Let’s keep our small businesses in business!
