Foster Carling Residence by John Lautner

What a treat… another Lautner designed house hits the market in less than a month. (see post on Bergren Residence on Sept 22). And this one is even more dazzling. The Foster Carling House, which is perched on a hilltop above Mulholland with 360-degree views of the city and valley, is significant in the history of Lautner’s architecture.

Bergren Residence by John Lautner

There have been a lot of interesting listings this week, architecturally speaking.  I was going to create a post about a snazzy little home by Richard Banta in the hills that came on the market earlier this week, but then I saw that the Bergren Residence by John Lautner has just been listed, which I think is a worthy preemption. This home was last sold in 2004, so I'm pretty jazzed about it becoming avaialble.
